Interjections

Was it a challenging week for you? Are you thinking some of these words to yourself right now? 🙈🙊 Interjections appear occasionally in transcripts, so it's helpful to have a quick guide to the dictionary spelling of some of them. Do you prefer to spell any of these differently? I think 'psst' should have a few more s's for dramatic effect. c:

Merriam-Webster.com: "An interjection is a word or phrase that is grammatically independent from the words around it, and mainly expresses feeling rather than meaning."

Thanks for the PopSocket, Scoof! Scoof is an app that helps connect court reporters, scopists, and proofreaders. Do any of you use it?

I'm frequently listed as an available PDF proofreader on the app. I haven't had any reporters connect with me there yet, but I'm hoping that'll change as the service becomes more popular.

P.S. I'm not affiliated with the company, just a fan of things that help me help reporters!
